OVERVIEW

Ignite Motivation (IM) provides 1:1 life coaching and group retreats for high achievers who want to transform their lives. Maria Francu, IM’s founder, helps clients design a life of deeper meaning, impact, and fulfillment.

Maria initially came to us because she wanted to launch her coaching business with a bold, dynamic, visual brand, website and printed marketing collateral that positions her as an approachable coach who helps people find clarity, regain confidence, and move forward with purpose.

BRANDED CONTENT

We started by doing a deep dive interview with Maria to understand her motivation behind becoming a life coach after already having a successful real estate career.

Her upbringing in Romania during the Cold War, immigrating to the U.S., and health and relationship struggles are integral to her mission and values as a life coach and essential to convey building trust and connection with potential clients.

The custom brand writing combined with a stylish, bold headline font and intentional italics words used for emphasis encourages the emotions of understanding, support, and accountability—top qualities that a life coach must have. The writing delineates her offerings, streamlined process, and how to work with her. Content includes her background, certifications, education, FAQs, reviews, case studies, and calls to action.

The website establishes her new company, gives her credibility and authority within her industry, and serves as the central online destination where interactions and transactions occur with an online scheduler.

She is the face of her business, and this was important to visually express; her joyful personal brand photography is used throughout the website to show off her warm personality and make a more profound impact and connection with her audience.

The new logo is fearless and forward-feeling. The combination logo uses a mix of lowercase and uppercase letters, bright red and dark charcoal gray colors, and a phoenix icon. These elements express Maria’s easygoing and professional, passionate and courageous character.

The focus is on the word “ignite,” set in a modern serif typeface that adds depth and authority accompanied by the gradated phoenix flying out of the ashes. The word “motivation” is in a clean contemporary sans serif typeface and provides a strong foundation, although set in italics, to give the sensation of movement. The phoenix has many meanings, including transformation and the willingness to confront and overcome challenges. This emotionally driven design produces a custom style easily recognized and differentiates Maria from other coaches to help clients pick her as their coach.

Additional visual elements include red lines, checkmarks, stars, custom icons, and bold buttons, as well as a customized event page and calendar block.

We connected the domain name, set up Maria’s online scheduler, Stripe account, website legal policies, and Google Business profile, and created a mailing list and visual style guide. 

The website has a zestful design developed from discovery and built with strategy. The site is easy to navigate and comprehend the services, speaks clearly to its target audience, and motivates users to schedule a free 30-minute call to work with Maria, whether that’s for 1:1 coaching or a group retreat.
